Basketball

This term our sports is basketball well yesterday we went to basketball lesson we learnt how to dribble and we learnt how to wrap the ball around our waist ,head,legs and other body parts but yesterday we just learnt how to dribble and we learnt what beef means well b stands for balance and e stands for eyes and the other e stands for elbow and f stands for follow.

How to play place value war :)

so what you need to do is to give out the cards equally to each player that is playing

so once everyone has a deck of cards then of the player 1 puts down 2 cards down like this
and each player put down two cards and then whoever has the highest get all the payers cards.

but if 2 players have the same card than war is declaim they have to flip over 1 more card and who ever has i biggest number is the winner

so hope you have a fun time playing this awesome game!

Samoan language week

Talofa lava and welcome to The taste of Samoa Oh Hi my name is Rosie and it is Samoan language week Right now Room 14 and i are at the taste of Samoa,The taste of Samoa is when you taste food from Samoa and it is when you learn more about Samoa.

So the first station i went to was the talo so this photo is us learning about talo at so these to boys are poe and Ian and they are telling us about talo i learnt that they shave the talo with a can so what they do they get a can and they cut the bottom and use the sharp end to shave the talo skin of and they cook it with big and their things  they eat.

here is Sili and Mamere teaching about the famous drink at Samoa koko they have the same ingredients to how to make Milo but they use cocoa beans so what they do with the cocoa beans they take of the shell or skin of but you don't need a knife or a sharp end of a can you just use your hands and then you smash it until it turns into the small bits then you add in the sugar and then hot water but no milk that is so weird when you do not use milk for your Milo but it is okay because that is part of their culture.

here is Sherona and Harriet telling kids about the Samoan jewellery on the right side those are the boys jewellery and on the left that is the girls jewellery most wear it to celebrations and dances so after that they let us try on some bracelets and necklaces. 

and here is more jewellery but it was just a fun day.

This term we have been learning about Pablo piccaso you may know who he is but he does abstract art abstract means that it is using your imagination and being funky and creative but he doesn't do realistic art because he is being creative but anyway hope you like my slide enjoy.   : ) : )
